Work Structure

The research activities coordinated in GREENERING are focused on the successful accomplishment of the objectives proposed. The Action will achieve its scientific goals through 4 inter-related Working Groups (WGs), each one with its aim, objectives and tasks foreseen to achieve specific milestones. The Working Groups of GREENERING are:

WG1

Opportunities for Implementation of Green Process at Industrial Scale

WG2

Development of Entrepreneurial Skills

WG3

Education and Mobility

WG4

Impact

WG2 will be focused in providing training to young researchers focusing on value creation, i.e., a translational approach of green technologies to the market, through a series of entrepreneurial activities
This will be achieved through Practical Training Courses and mobility that provide the necessary complementary hands-on training in specific areas such as market analysis, IP strategy, marketing, and business development. These courses will give comprehensive training to a range of scientists, at different levels of formation in order to promote more entrepreneurial activities and the creation of added value through innovation.

WG4 has the aim to exploit and leverage the skills and knowledge generated within the Action to accelerate innovation and competitiveness of the European industrial sector in terms of the implementation of green technologies.
To achieve a significant impact at level of collaborators and the European research community; To build a living network for the community for exchange of knowledge and expertise to foster innovation for materials research; To exploit the research results, e.g. via IP protection, licensing, technology transfer.

COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a funding agency for research and innovation networks. COST Actions help connect research initiatives across Europe and enable scientists to grow their ideas by sharing them with their peers. This boosts their research, career and innovation.
